Natsuya 2007-07-16 . chapter 2Wow! I loved this chapter, even though the action scene was a little short. I think you are an excellent writer and should definitely continue writing this story!
Isaac does feel a little flat, but it's just the beginning so you still have loads of time left to develop his character. I find it interesting that he is Diane's twin sister and I wonder what exactly happened...what kind of Cancer did he have? And had it something to do with the Invasion of those exoforms?
I also wonder what exactly Alex's job is. They said that she's going to co-pilot the GRAVE, but then why did the president refer to the pilot of the GRAVE as "her"? It's as though she is supposed to play a decoy or something...Or maybe I just misunderstood.
Great chapter. The mystery and my unanswered questions make me want to continue reading it. If you are interested in reading other mecha stories, I have written one as well. And there are also some other really good ones, like Stardust Paradise and Vanguard. |
Natsuya 2007-07-10 . chapter 1Amazing. Simply Amazing. And yay, another mecha fan! ^^
So, anyway, the first chapter was very well written, not in a super-embellished way, but in that simple, appropiate, yet still complex way that one could truly call talent. You really are talented and know how to manipulate your words to get the point across. The beauty of your skill is its abstract terseness.
The GRAVE and everything had me really excited. I am really looking forward to the battle and finding out more about the story's background. Since this was the first chapter, the pace was a little startling and I still barely know what is going on (actually, I got a faint idea, probably because of my experience with mecha stories; most of them have a slightly similiar backbone, but that isn't a bad thing at all! Your story is awesome!).
I don't know what else to say apart from the fact that I am really happy to find another mecha fan here! I have also written a mecha story, so maybe we could become buddies? ^^, lol.
Well done. This was an excellent first chapter. I loved it. |
