Wow. All sorts of pantheons going on here. I like it. And it just so happens that Selene and Amaterasu are two of my favorite goddesses ever. >:3 Amaterasu is amazing in the game Okami.
Love it. Can't wait to see what happens. I love stories in first person; they allow for more humor and pathos and whatnot.
Now, a few ideas. One: maybe Selene's nickname could be Sel. It just sounds more natural than Lene. Two: you might want to add more description in the dialogue as to just how they are saying things.
I'll be waiting for chapter two :)
