That was so sad. I almost cried at the end. The last line was perfect.

Jordan will never be able to forgive herself for the rest of her life, and that's really sad too. It was partly her fault, but not really, because she was exhausted and probably would've died too if she went back down to save Skye.

That was a really sad and powerful story. I really like the title and the panic conveyed in the part where Skye is trying to save Jordan and when Skye is drowning. Wow! That was one of the best short stories I've read in a long time.
