This was a very nice one-shot, though it left many questions unanswered. For example: who was he? What did he do? What is his association with the restaurant (he didn't give a name, he only said that they had reservations for two and how could he have paid without knowing what she ordered) Does he work there? Does his family own the place?

All of this is a not-so-subtle prompt to goad you into turning this into a multi-chapter story instead of a one-shot.
