| xx-cronopio-xx 2007-08-10 ch 1, | abuseIntriguing; the line "we both ignore her dandruff" is both an apparent departure from the previous subject matter and the central point of relevancy for the entire story: the paradox of attempting to listening attentively to this woman's account of her most intimate struggles and regrets, while at the same time feeling an inescapably tangible revulsion for the dandruff in her hair, and weariness at hearing the same tired old statements.
