abuseHello there! I'm still here :) I was sitting around thinking about this story the other day, and poof! All these wonderful chapters to read!

Wow, it's over? When Lind told Dek where they were going, that was when I realized that Sam and Twist and Tim were there too, but it's not much of a revelation considering a few paragraphs later, it said that exactly.

I really, truly enjoyed reading this story, and I'm not just saying that to be nice. I'm going to miss Sam and Twist and Tim, they were so much fun. Is it too much to hope that they'll appear in another story?

abuse"Twist and co. aren't going to reappear for a while yet" doesn't mean 'never' so I can still hope. Anyway, Hunt is such a loose canon in this chapter, but, and please don't shoot me for this reference, he reminds me of Ron from Harry Potter. Now Dek...I've been mulling over his personality. While Deep and the others have such a stable personality he seems to shift between personalities a lot, depending on the subject matter and situation. I guess it's all part of who he is; it feels a little bit to me like he's unconsciously trying to mesh his past lives with his present. Poor guy.

abuseEep! TWIST! *hug* Yay! I just about had a coronary at that little surprise you put in at the end of the chapter! Now I can't wait for the next chapter! I really hope we'll be seeing more of Twist, and Samantha, and 'the replacement' soon. I miss them.

Now isn't it just typical of a guy, or what we think as typical of a guy, to be completely clueless about things like prom. Pity.

At first when I read through this chapter I was a bit curious as to the purpose of the Dek-Cane scene, and then I realized that it was setting up for the rest of the chapter. It's a small part, but then again small bits make a big difference.

abuseI'm still not too sure as to how they're going to connect with Andrea. I mean, at first I thought maybe, just maybe, she was a part of this team but that seemed so far fetched that I tossed the idea out before it was even completely formed. And then she went off to become a medic, and the rest of the team has been 'awoken' and she's not there. So yeah, still a bit confuzzled about that.

I also think I should go back and read A Run to Forget. To me, it still feels like Sara is here even though my brain knows that she is gone.

abuseWOW! I didn't expect that twist, that Dek had gotten the same sort of training as the gang from "A Run to Forget." That's a real surprise! I'm a little bit confused as to how he lost his memories. According to the memories Dek got back in this chapter, he was sent to some sort of training camp and became very advanced mentally and physically, and the government gave Dek's mother $$ for allowing them to train him and change him like this. What I don't understand is how these memories were lost or repressed. Were they waiting until they needed him to release the memories again? I think it has something to do with that poem...

abuseSo, I dunno what to say in this review. I guess I'll start with Deep. She's just weird. I'm a little bit confused as to how they relate to Andrea's story; I mean, what with her career choice, and what Dek and Morgan's mom does, it kinda makes sense but not really. But I guess we'll find out, won't we?

abuseA companion piece to A Run to Forget! I really liked that one, and this story, and I'll definitely be following it.
