Rape is horrible... And there are so many injustices these days. It's terrible, but at least we have people to announce these feelings.

I really like this one. I think the repeated use of
"I am sentenced to die,
Die by the hands of my..."
is what really grabbed me.

I was looking back at some of the reviews of my work, and I noticed that you'd asked my to review yours, and I didn't, and I feel bad about that (well, and I just plain ole feel bad), so here I am!

This is really sad, but the poem is very well written. I've never been able to keep up a pattern in my verse, but you've succeeded quite well at doing so. It's ironic, isn't it, how killing someone who did nothing wrong supposedly brings honor back to them. You've treated a delicate, tragic subject well.

ooh, medieval/extreme conservatist family theme going on here. This one seems to tell more than show, but I guess that's how it works at times when talking about a situation like this. I also happen to notice that all the verses start with "I". Can be a good thing, but I wouldn't stick with that. It can get frustrating for the reader at times... Other than that, very nice, keep writing :)

This reminds me of a book series I read, the stories of Princess Sultana. Stories like these always break my heart. I adore your poem. Good work.
