Reviews For: To What We Love
Lady DreamWriter 2007-07-20 . chapter 1
Merciful Goddess Almighty. This piece made the hair stand up all over my body. How is it that this piece says everything that I've forever been trying to express about my undying passion for the art of writing?

I think that the end line "We are all slaves to what we love." in the end is what really captures the attention and focus to this piece. In the end, regardless of what relationships we have with our people, the siren's call to write would ultimately always win out. Because without the ability to write or otherwise communicate, we as writers whole never feel complete, only shadows going though the motions of living.

There was one error though; that I think really throws your otherwise masterful poem of it’s stride:

“Dear, I implore your accusations!
Why compare me with my words I dare to write?”

I’m not sure that the word ‘my’ alone sounds right. My suggestion would be:

“Dear, I implore your accusations!
Why compare me with the very words I dare to write with?’

Again, this is only a suggestion, but otherwise this is an absolutely masterful and unforgettable piece.
