I have to say this story touched me. I've known people, childen, who have went through something like this with the family services 'protection' when protection wasn't needed. It ** me off to see someone hurt like that , mentally if not physically. I am you wrote this. It touched something deep down within me and made me think. Think about how frakked up the Family services of this country really are. I enjoyed reading the story.
Now for a question about something that went unanswered.
Even tho Sophies Mother later found out that she was actually the experiment X4592 she didn't ask what happened to the daughter she gave birth to. Same for kyra, or did she find out about her? Just something I wanted to know. Thanks.

Hi, I just wanted you to know, that while I do not possess feline qualities, I really appreciate the way that you capture alot of the feelings and frustration that your characters face in the foster care system, I myself am a survivor of abuse, and while mine was real, No one, and I mean NO ONE would ever listen to me, I still loved my mom, just not my dad. But they arrested her as well, and while eventually she was released, she still is forbidden to contact me or my sisters, and the scars from that awful experience will never heal. So often like in your story, adults are more likely to put us in institutions, instead of actually trying to understand what it is like. Thank you so much!

Great story. I have read the story of Kyra so it was good to see the whole picture. I felt drawn into this story and felt what the characters felt. I love it when stories do that. Awesome job really enjoyed it!
