abuseI agree tat we need to do something for our environment. If some people got off their high horse and realized the damage being done to Earth more would get done. I am greatful to Al Gore and his plight, save the trees use an owl! I also feel that chruch and state should not mix.

abuseHi again! I see you have a new essay. Allow me to read...

1.) "...an example of the growing trend of this type of thinking being popular and commonly accepted." -- I don't understand what you're saying here. Can you rephrase to be more clear?

2.) *sigh* I HATE the whole idea of "carbon credits". They just make too many excuses for people to keep doing what they're already doing. But anyhow, that's not the point of this issue, and as you pointed out, it's certainly a popular "environmentalist" trend now. Just had to grumble a bit there!

This is an excellent essay (as yours generally seem to be). Great grammar and a nice, clear (albeit very academic-sounding) writing style. Well done! If there's one thing I'd like to see, it's an example or two of how the non-Christian and non-pagan religions affect (or are affected by) environmentalism. You mention that "Christian, Jewish and Muslim groups have sprung up in support of the restoration of the planet" but then only discuss Christians further. Frankly, I know about the Christians, so I'm more curious about the others. Anyhow, if you ever feel like spending more time on this, that's what I'd suggest adding.

Well done! Thanks!
