Ripped lace promises...what a beautiful visual image... And I love the italicised promises, nice touch.

I like the rhyming in this. It's easy flow contrasts cooly with the harsh reality it talks about. Nice job. :)

Wow, i got goose bumps. This poem flows so well, and you can just tell how horrifyingly weak, and heart broken the person in the poem is. Very nice piece.

Not too bad.. you have sense of well done rhythm but it would be nice to hear some unconvential words rhyming. Ones that are easy and you come by in poetry a dime a dozen. Along with the story..
