Odd, first time I read this, I said to myself s/he's OCD. Yes, he qualifies (I live with such a person at home-not fun). He has an obsession and acts compulsive about it. That's all it takes. I like it very much. You should make a long story, because it's promising. I'm waiting to see what you come up with.
