wow, haikus are excellent because they're so short but so effective and can have countless meanings. Love the words you've chosen, and how everything flows well - from the bridges to the sorrow one feels after being burnt. I really appreciated the author's note as well - you have to wonder why, but I guess it's simply human nature. Nice work. :)
