Marek: yeah?
Daniil: You were, um, great last night.
Marek: Uh huh.
Daniil: And so, I have decided that since you bed so well, you shall be my lover and I will protect you as one would a wife-
Marek: Hey, just coz I bottomed doesn’t –
Daniil: And we shall live happily ever after.\
Marek: Oh, OK then.

Or something like that. What I’m getting at is that their personalities and situations haven’t been changed completely after the smut. *thumbs up*
Umm, is MArek.. angsting? Heh, it’s a healty dose of reality, so it’s fine. The end kinda sounded like he was going to off himself or actually that setting of the harsh waves at dawn kinda suggest that someone’s going to shove him in. Eek. Update, coz I can’t take IT ANYMORE!

I did pick up on the odd typo and think you got the names mixed around once at the end of chapter 17 but I was too busy reading on to stop and mark where so not much help to you.

Ah. I don't hate you after this at all. I think every story needs a bit of sadness in it. Though I am afraid of what will be said when the two do see each other again.

If I had to guess, I'd say Daniil is going home so he can make arrangements to stay on a more permanent basis. But both Marek and Daniil are idiots and they'd do well to talk to people. Great chapter. Update soon.

I am soo impressed with how fast you updated! I do not, indeed, hate you. I am, however, very anxious to find out what happens next. Perhaps, Daniil plans to stay behind... Perhaps he plans to come back in a couple months... So many possiblities are rolling around in my head. I can't wait to learn the truth.

Kind of a surprising ending. Nobody's going to report an "M" story for a sex scene. Take your time, make the end of the story excellent.

YOU HAVE TO DO THE LONGER VERSION! I say if ending this story in more than two chapters will be better than YOU HAVE TO DO IT! I must see the best version of this really good story and ending too soon will just ruin it. HEh, after your explanation, I went back and read the duel. It makes so much more sense now. I truly be slow *shakes head pitifully* I totally didn't get the whole killing thing. Maybe you should've mentioned it in the chapter. Not everyone knows that drawing first blood is acceptable but killing is not. Maybe you already did. I probably missed it then.

Also, of course Daniil needed some action time. Marek, HAS been a lot more strong. Had to man Daniil up, hehehehehehhe hehehe ehhehe.

Also, I noticed an error in the last duel scene. You had it say Daniil with 3 i's instead of 2. Don't know if it makes a difference. Totally overlookable. Glad you decided to clarify. I finally get certain things, though you should probably add them in the chapter too (like the bit about the royal family knowing of the underground tunnels)

Also, I totally expected an update, not a side note. Now get back to work! plee-ee-eease?

I'm totally lost!

I can't understand how Marek got to be in the cave, his father tricked him in the tournament forcing him to kill and therefore be forfeit?
But why have him prisoned in a cave he and his sister used to play in and how would Marek know he was being taken there in order to leave a clue? I don't see how or why Marek could have planned for this, he'd have been better off finding a way to escape himself than rely on being found.

Nice rhyme. I tried to imagine it as lilting and melodious, but that didn’t end too well. I figured that his sis would be the one to figure out the meaning of his message. That Daniil did was rather a surprise. Awesome job!

Okay, the paragraph after the one Marek claims to be hallucinating is kinda confusing. I was like ‘Did he just get kissed and then fall asleep? Really, why not just say so?’ It was just a tad bit confusing. Can you clarify what happened there? Maybe I’m stupid.
