I really liked it...I can relate to the situation and would definitely buy the song if it were real! The only thing I might suggest, and I don't know this could be just me, but maybe you could give a little background in the beginning of like what instruments you might imagine to have playing, what type of genre of music it might be, etc. because then it really gives the reader an idea of what it might sound like and it makes the words that much more meaningful since it's a song. I loved it though!

This looks really good, esp. if (as you say) it had the whole pop-rock thing goin' on.
