Wow, that's sad. And depressing. I didn't think it would have this much of an effect on me before I read it. But, it did. I don't know, but it is very interesting. I really like it. And I was able to picture everything in my head. Amazing work.

This is the saddest ANYTHING I've ever read about Band. It's eloquent and visceral and flat-out amazing, but it's so... depressing. Haha. I know that was the general effect you were going for, and wow, did you succeed.
