Quite an intriguing story there!

The italics are overused. A bit annoying, since there is no need for emphasis on so many words. There is also no need for paragraph breaks so often.

I'm thinking that if this creator has such a talent, he would surely be more cherished for it than despised, and would also find more patronage from one of these lords as a mecenator?
