i cant decide if i like this story/book... i mean i love it immensely n everything but... it's a real angsty pain that has taken a toll on my emotions in the last so many hours (I stayed up ALL night reading it)


you're a very good writer, in terms of style, and content n all that goodness... im too tired to give you a real review... but really... i'm addicted//enthralled haha

Yay! Jay and Rivers are finally back together! I'm also happy that Rivers chose Princeton and not some place that her parents expected her to go.

I'm really happy that Will is making his own decisions now, but I feel really bad for Rivers and Ian. I honestly think she'd choose Jay, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

hey you. so its the day before i go off to england and i thought i would try your story before i left. (its tash by the way). anyways, i havent gotten too far but i really do like it. i'm guessing that some characters are loosely based off of people we know? i'm trying to guess at who... is caroline the caroline i'm thinking of? i do like it, i think its very well written. and i like where its going. of course, i guess i know where its going even from chapter two but i cant wait to read more. talk to you soon-ish i hope!

Wow, this was quite an unexpected turn for Ian and Rivers' relationship! I'm glad Rivers is happy again, but I don't think anything good will come from this.

I love how Ian described South Africa and his observation that Rivers had multiple personalities. I've been noticing that myself, and it goes to show what a great job you do writing Rivers. She's a really complex character.

I really hope Jay is right and that he will have Rivers back because she's pretty messed up right now. Quinby pretends to be all concerned for her health, but I don't think he's sincere.

I haven't read the entire thing... actually only up til about half of chapter 10... hehe. But omg... I really liked Greg. I'm so sad. I hate Quinby. Why'd you have to make it like that?! =(

I hope Rivers can figure out her love life and that she doesn't become too dependent on drinking to take away her troubles. Both Rivers and Jay miss one another, but I don't see how they could get back together. It would've been cute if Jay had come to her game like in the old days :)

It seems like Jay and Rivers are both regretting their break up. I doubt Quinby will give Jay good advice about recapturing Rivers' heart since he's the one who wants her in the first place.

This was a well written chapter. I think that it was a bit of a filler chapter, you know those that are interesting, not unimportant, but that dont have any big drama in them? I know Caroline coming was a big drama for Rivers, but it was shortly talked about in the story.
However, that is something I like about your story. As I said before, I really enjoy how slowly you are unfolding this tale, it makes it much more like a published novel.
You inspired me to get a few books that I have really wanted to get for a while, one being the Great Gatsby, and the other (just because somehow the decadance of this story reminded me of him) the complete works of Oscar Wilde.

Anyways, I am really going to try to review for every chapter, so I hope that you will put up many more chapters to come and eventually and ending to this story.

I am sorry it has taken me so long to get around to reading and reviewing these past couple chapters! Life has been crazy, but I finally got a bit of time, so I figured I would find out what Rivers has gotten up to. I kind of like the rebllion that has sprung up in her, but I'm not sure it really leads to the best outcomes, like the fight at the party. I wonder if all her mood swings are from her head injury. I guess I'll just have to see how this different Rivers turns out in the end.

I also really like how Rivers' relationship with Jay is progressing and with Caroline. That is weird she suddenly decided to come home and hire a Russian housekeeper.

Now I am finally at the end of what you have written. Good chapter. I like how you progress everything slowly so that they grow in a way they really would. I like Quinby and I have a strong feeling he is who Rivers is supposed to actually end up with. I thought so since you introduced him as the leader and paid extra attention to him in that first introduction of him, jay and will. Im curious if Rivers will just get sick or Jay or if he will somehow die. I think if Quinby were to ever be able to be with Rivers without seemingly going against the outlaws bond, Jay would need to die. Not that I want him to, he is a really nice, wonderfull character. But then again, maybe Quinby will follow Rivers and go against the status quo eventually and try to get her anyways.

I am currently on chapter 17 but I realized you only have 27 reviews. I dont know why you dont have a hundred because this story is amazing. The only thing I can think of is that people think that because the story is so well written they dont need to tell you that it is or isn't good, you must know it.

I love this story, I love the illusions to the Great Gatsby and I think this story is written in a way that is remeniscent of that great classic. I love the characters and the way the story is slowly unfolding in a more complicated way than most on this site. I mean, generally the guy and girl that are going to end up together would be together in the first 5 chapters, but you have Rivers, realistically, going through different loves and heartbreaks before she reaches the final guy.

I will try to review more, keep writing! Keep posting! I really need to know how this ends!
