Ah you took this story off! Guess I have to buy it now! :o)

It was a sweet ending. I think we've established that I'm a sucker for happy endings by now.

Anyway, I wanted to point out that you did a good job in describing the boys. However, you keep leaving out Parker a lot even when mentioning the band, and he's kind of like a ghost in the story.

P.S. The only reason I asked if the criticism is okay is because I've had some nasty reactions to it in the past. Once someone flipped and issued an A/N chapter saying that she was an idiot when I just pointed out why something happened in the TV series she was writing about (after she asked the question in her A/N!). Suddenly there had to be a flurry of reviews to calm her down and then people tried to tell me I wasn't right, simply to appease and comfort her.

I find critical reviews have helped me a lot, and sometimes I just want to know what I did wrong or what I could do better. I really appreciate it (not flaming) and that's why I love sharing it. :)

It's interesting to see that Cole and Ally don't have an easy relationship. A lot of stories show the characters knowing exactly how to handle it transition from best friends to lovers, while here you've gone a different route.

I also read this and I know exactly what's going through Ally's mind with Stephanie's arrival. I'm that one girl who hangs out with the guys, and when another girl comes in not as one of the guy's girlfriends but someone who's just another friend like you, it makes you uneasy and like your position in the group is threatened. Irrational, I know because I've outlasted all of them, but inevitable.

I absoluetly adore this story! Its a wonderful from the plot to the charcters... just everything! You have me hooked and I know that this story was written a while ago but its still funny when I read your little author notes like I also read PCfAR and Bt and when you were talking about the Nickelback concerts and what you might do it was hilarious. You are an amazing author and I usually only read yaoi but Iz, Jake, Ally and Cole are to cute! You totally have another fan!!

So in the story you said that Cole is a sophomore..in..college? and Ally's a freshman.
But then in the character list in the end it says that Cole is 18 and a senior, and Ally is junior. just a bit confused..

Second time reading this also, and i got so into it. I think its the amount of drama and angst, but i was tearing up and feeling so angry on Allys behalf, when none of them were speaking with her. Although that meant that i wasnt that happy when she quite easily forgave them, so i would have liked to know a bit more about how she felt, as they were reconciling (sp?) because they hadnt spoken or seen eachother for ages and that must be huge for friends that have grown up together.
I dont usuall like high school stories, but i love yours, theyre always so gripping, the only problem i do have is that sometimes i wish the characters feelings and emotions are explored more. Although, as i said, you did not have a problem inspiring emotions in me in this story, i was literally so angry at the guys during the fight :D

that a/n made so much more sense; it took a while to figure out who everyone was. but then you did it all for me XD

You know, I have read many stories and this one has always gotten to me. Lord, if was Ally I would not have been so forgiving. She grow up with these guys and at a hit a trouble with there dad's they turn there back on her. Then expect her to take them back after apologizing! What load of bullshit! I say make them pay! As for Cole, well he should have known better and should have stuck by Ally! His step-sister needs to get a fucking life and not but into business that is not concern of hers! That's her step-father what he does, does not concern her. Money and shelter wise sure but when to comes dow to it, only Cole, and his step-mother matter. I just don't like his step-sister! Plus Cole has been her best friend since they were born and he he turns his back on her! Fuck that shit! She should have been like, "Go to fucking hell, and rot in it!" I know that's what I would have said. cause once that kind of trust is broken its not that simple to get back. And a few simple words, kisses, and touches should not have made a difference. Ally, did what I would have done. If i felt like i was being replaced (i know the feeling personally) hell yeah i would be a bitch if not queen fucking bitch! And another thing is that if someone said shit about my dad i would fucking put them in there goddamn place and then knock the down a few pegs!

Sorry I got really into this story and I was rooting for Ally the whole time.
