Limited Edition 2007-08-16 . chapter 1I don't think any publisher reads more than two paragraphs before they judge if the piece is actually worth reading or not. I'm not sure how much practice you have, but clearly not enough for getting published. The piece has no author's voice, but what actually kills it for me is that it gives away too much information.
Ah well, reading on.
Things are explained rather than carried out. The happenings are passive instead of active, which makes it simply uninteresting.
The description of the characters seems concentrated on length of hair, hair colour, eye colour. It doesn't make them memorable or draw any picture really.
Azrael is a pretty cliché name in vampire fiction.
The events taking place in the prologue makes me think of "Days of our lives".
Ah well, I just...can't read anymore. But good luck. Sorry if I was too harsh. But it's not hopeless since the faults can actually be pointed out, which is not always the case. |
Mean titan 2007-08-13 . chapter 1 Yes this is definatly a book I would read, I really like Azarel so far and I think that I will like Caim when he comes into this story more. I like how her parents basicly kidnaped her.
Oh and the twilight books are amazing, I bought all three of them on wednesday and finished Eclipse yesturday.
