The human race has this hunger to explore and explain, which really belittles majestic things in our eyes. Columbus probably didn't contribute much to the European discovery of the American continents (he thought he found another way to India until he died), but I understood what you were saying and I think the reference to the old rhyme makes a good introduction to the heart of this poem. |
