First reading this, my thoughts are, "Oh, I get it. Drifting from your friends- everyone can relate."
Then I read your note at the bottom, and I'm glad you put it there. It makes the reader reread the poem and see something else behind its words. I can relate to that one too. Actually, in a BIG way. (my best guy friend, for almost 7 years- we're in love with each other, off and on, but it's a complex story)
Anyway, I really like this.

aww that is so sad; i am sorry about your loss and he must not have been that good of a friend if he still didnt want to be friends with you even after he found out you were crushing on him. I am sorry ; the poem goes very well with the feeling i think you might be feeling!

i like the fourth stanza a lot, it reminds me of charon and crossing the river, nice little poem

This was very real and emotional. It should say "forgiven" instead of "forgave" though.
