abuseaww, this is cute ^^
to be honest, i have my little sister (she's 5) sitting on my lap as i type (it's a little difficult, but who cares? lol), and i decided to read this to her as i did. she liked it, but i asked her if she wanted to be another mermaid searching for the shell and she [very surprisingly] said no. i didn't really know what to say, but who knows why little kids change their minds about things so fast :P
i liked this, it was nicely written. how old was the girl though?
