"sin's longing whimper"; that's what it is, isn't it? I'm not positive what's going on in the poem except that the person's gone or going dark. They know there's "hope" but don't want it, but the poem itself proves that good is what is really desierd. Good rhythm, some nice phrases too. In the beginning you've got
"Fiery rage" a line from "Hearts so cold", both presumably describing the evil because both can work for that. However when they're in such proximity I'm wondering how evil can be hot and cold at the same time. It's almost funny. In general, pretty good poem (word-wise). I won't talk about the emotion unless asked.

It flows very nicely and thinks beyond the call. I personally like it. Congratulations on a great piece!
