I have always like this story, (I re-read it today on my way into Quebec) and am intrigued by what plans you have with this version of it. I shall be awaiting some updates on this. Hehe. When you didn't use pronouns to gender him, if i hadn't read the story before i would have thought Val was a woman. I think that was a very neat trick that you pulled off. Unless i am hugely mistaken and out of my gourd xD

Your stories are a respite from family issues and really brighten my day. I love how this rewrite has added parts that make the story even more believable and entertaining.
