Wow. Talk about style! Your story began so perfectly- it really seemed like the narrator voice over in a movie! Good stuff! I like your word choice, its powerful without being overflowery or elaborate. Nice stuff! You're clearly talented! And I liked your author's note intro!

Interesting beginning for a story. I liked it. ^^ I know it's personal preference, but I liked all the detail and foreshadowing you added to the chapter.
