Well, I'm a guy, so I may take this differently than the girls. It's hard for me to relato to this, the exact same feeling. But I understand what you want to say about not seeing the good things that's right in front of you.
Your rhyming and verses were really good, although I think it would've been better if you'd actually let the chorus repeat thrice, instead of simply writing "to chorus". I love repeating, so that would've been great!
