| summerbee 2007-11-21 ch 2, | abuseI was pretty wary to get into this with the first chapter. just because I was kind of worried. I didn't know how much older Leon was going to be, and I wasn't sure I liked the unrequited love theme. but I feel like the story took a huge turnaround with this chapter- I mean, this chapter is seriously good. a lot of times I think people with no experience with tough ** like this [drugs, blah blah, and I don't know if you really do or not] either glamourize it or just plain get the experience wrong. but this is gritty and frank and realistic, and just yeah. I love the tone. Leon's voice is amazing and you've got it nice and consistent. so yeah, I'm excited to see this updated, I'm putting you on alerts :] keep writing soon! |
