Teva'ni-Britagne 9/4/07 . chapter 1Beautifully done. I particularly liked the following lines, they all tell her “darling just find the right ink-drawn BOY and you won’t need an eraser again” - but she doesn’t know if she needs a boy from india or someone charcoal like her, to figure things out together. Which I know is basically the entire poem, almost but it was all rather lovely, wording and all. |
Moondog Dozier 8/29/07 . chapter 1This has a wonderful mixture of interior thought, and hopeful optimism. I like how this is simple, to the point and specific about what it is trying to get across. The reader can feel how the speaker is questioning what to look for, and what society adds into that search. Very well written. MD:77. |
