I have to say, after I found your story I could not stop reading. (Well, aside from having to tormentingly place it aside to study for a midterm xD) I loved every bit and piece of your work; each scenery and scenario came easily into my mind. The only one thing I have to complain about was Ellicor's death; it made me sad to no end and it was a great effect in making a dramatic ending to your first book; but I think it was a little unfair for our favorite faerie boy :( He just got finished telling Cale all that he wanted to do in life and I was beginning to think that we'd get to know him more on a deeper level when BAM! And he was at the peak of his youth too T.T I just want to rewind the story and reread the parts where Ellicor was flaunting around and being his lively self (and I think Ellicor agrees with me >.> Ellicor: Give me back my golden haired boy toy!) Oh Ellicor, -hugs- T-T But anyways, I saw that your second book, 'The Poisoner's Game', was on hiatus; so hope you can get your mojo back and continue on :D Don't let the spirits of our favorite yummilicous poisoner and his boy slav-I mean Cale, don't let our two favorite characters die out from your spirit just yet! :D >.> (Looks at Azri in the background wearing a scary smile.) Hey, awesome story. I will be reading the follow-up, but I have a few remarks here and there. First, I believe it was the chapter when they were at the stone tower, or around there, where you made a massive time-jump without explaining the lost time. One sentence it's morning, the next they're having dinner.

Secondly, a few chapters ago, after the tearing out the throat business, Cale told the faery his story, right? Then how come he doesn't recognise Azri in chapter 27? And there are other inconsistencies concerning this.

Other than that, fabulously done. I look forward to the next one!

I like it very much, no, I LOVE it. There's not much more for me to say seeing as I am really bad at reviewing, but I am happy that this story, and the other story you've written is waiting to be read. I can't wait :)

This was an excellent story. However, I did notice some things. Cale and Ellicor went to the Festival of the Red Queen, but you said a few chapters back that the Festival of the Red Queen was in high summer. Since Azri and Cale only met a month and a half ago, and you mentioned "bare dogwood trees" and "roses asleep for the winter", how did they jump to high summer so fast? And you never told us what the bundle was Azri gave to Cale the first time he went into the city either.

I love this story, absoultely amazing, You write so well, and I love all you characters personlaties!

I have to agree with you on female characters! I love them (being Female mysel especailly) and I dont understand why people -would- hate them?! Especially Kick ** ones like Seinna!! And yeah, there's not enough females around, I was really happy when she was introduced to this story!

I love this story, from begining to end and everything in between. It is a very well written piece of fantasy; I canonly imagine the sort of talent and dedication it takes to be able to create an entire world for your story to take place in and have it stay constant for the whole time. I love your characters and the way they interact. They all seem so real because the things they do and the emotions they portra are something that you can see in everyday life. I loved the truth about Rizak's character; from the begining (the way his hands were described) I knew there was something diferent about him. I was assuming something like werewolf so your idea was totaly original. All in all, it is a wonderful story and I am looking forward to reading the sequal presently. Thanks for being and amazing writer.
