Hello,
I heard about this story from my friend and she told me how awesome it was. I couldn't resist and had to check it out. I was kinda disappointed that only the first chapter was up and the rest were all taken down. I do understand your reasons for taking it down, but it's such a pity :( Anyway, I really enjoyed the first chapter.

Honestly I have no idea why I didn't review this story earlier, and in fact thought I had. But I read this a few months back and figured now's as good a time as any to letcha know I really enjoyed this story. I love it when the "cocky boys" turn out to be sweet-hearts. I liked the mixed ethnicity plot going on to!

Although I am beyond devastated that you took this story down I understand why you did it and I support you. After seeing how many stories have been taken down, I'm starting to regret never taking the time to leave a review for my favorite stories, so ever since, I've been reviewing the best stories so that the authors can know how much I appreciate their work, and yours was no different. I loved the story for its uniqueness and moving plot/descriptions. It was an exceptional story. :D

Hi Myrika,

I'm sorry I haven't reviewed this story the first time I ever read it. It was undoubtedly a wonderful story that I had enjoyed more than once. Devon and Quentin are my all time favorites in all your stories that I have read in FP. I was hoping to reread it again when I went to visit your page, well that and finish Still Waters.

I was shocked to see that you had removed the chapters of your others works...so I began to read your notes about the Plagiarisms. I realized that what you did is for the best and I don't blame you at all for that. Plagiarists suck, is all I can say. I went to the LJ community you have linked and I just hope I get into the cut. And if not...well I just hope you get your stories published because I would definitely be a buyer. I wouldn't mind having a hard copy of TSWAQ to put in my bookshelf. So if you do start publishing I hope you can give a alert so I can start buying...

Good luck for the future~

Hey Myrika,

Out of all the stories you wrote, this one has to be my favorite. It's beautiful, touching, and written so well that it simply touches my heart. Devon and Quentin will probably be my favorite couple of all time. Your stories will be greatly missed, and I'm sorry to hear about people plagiarizing you. I never left a comment before, and I'm sorry that i never did. Maybe it was because after reading your stories, it left me absolutely speechless. It was that good. I guess what I'm trying to say is...Thank you. Thank you very much for writing and sharing your story with us. I hope all your stories will get published.

Hi Myrika,
This is actually my first review ever. In all my years of reading fiction on FP, I never quite felt compelled to leave reviews. I simply enjoyed authors' works as they were and appreciated them for the delight they gave me when I was procrastinating during studying or bored on a slow Sunday.
I always thought it was ridiculous when readers would leave nasty notes or cuss out authors for not updating "on time." But in light of all that's happened to you fabulous authors, I'm most sad that I never left reviews expressing how great your work (and that of your colleagues) is. I never left glowing reviews to counteract the crappy ones, never left appreciation for the characters you brought to life, never left notice that I love you guys for your hard work and dedication to your craft (and as you said, all for FREE).
So...perhaps better late than never. I saved my first review for TSWAQ because Quentin and Devon are my all-time favorite couple. Quentin made me laugh so hard sometimes...and then in the next chapter, made me want to punch him for being such a doofus to Devon. I came back time and time again to reread all my favorite passages. Now that you've removed the chapters, I'm sad but totally understand...and hope to see Quentin and Devon in a bookstore one day for me to purchase.
I tried to subscribe to your new livejournal haven and hope I'll make the cut. But if not, I just wanted you to know that I have loved your work and wish you all the success in world. Thank you for Quentin and Devon. Oh, and Abide with Me had me absolutely spellbound as well. It was a bit of a darker story than TSWAQ =) but nonetheless brilliant.

I really, really liked this story.I love it to pieces. (I even know some of the lines!).
When I heard you took it off, like all the other ones I adored, to be honest, I swore. I was like, 'WHAT THE HELL. WHAT WILL I DO WITHOUT MY DAILY DOSE OF QUENTIN? AND THE OTHER WONDERFUL ROMANTIC STORIES?'.
But I am a writer myself, and I realized, if someone copied my work, I'd be so mad.
So, I decided I have three options.
A) Throw a ** fit and command you to put back the stories (haha - no.)
B) Beg, beg, beg!
C) Hope one day TSWAQ will be published, along with your other fab stories.

Guess which one I picked?
Yes, it's C!
To appetize my need for some myrika goodness, I am still going to beg for some lovey-dovey oneshots.
Best of luck with your stories, keep writing!
Oh, and if TSWAQ ever gets published, I'll be the first one to buy it!

I swear to God, if there is ONE thing I regret in my entire life, it is not saving this story to read over and over again.

I just can't get over how amazing you must be to create everything you do. *shakes head in wonder*

I am sorry to hear that, truly. i've dealt with plagiarism myself through fanfiction and i know that it's a terrible ordeal to experience, the only consolation i think that i can offer in regards to this is that at the end of the day, work stolen or not, you still have your amazing talent. you really have a wonderful gift, one that resonates with readers (obviously, given your astronomical review counts) and will surely lead to great things for you in the future.

good luck, and i hope that this isn't the last we see of you on FPress.

No! I was so looking forward to re-reading this story and just when it's really getting interesting, it stops! :'(

I'm sorry someone tried to do that to you though, it's just upsetting to know I can't read it anymore.

Picture your favourite book of all time. You know, the one you can read a thousand times over and never get bored of. Ok, now imagine one day, you get nagging need to read it only to realize that you no longer can. That your book is gone and there is no where you can buy it etc. It's a really depressing feeling.

Not saying it was my favourite work of literature but it was definitly my favourite story on this site.

It really sucks what happened, but please, PLEASE, consider putting Trouble Starts with a Q up again because I, as well as hundreds of other readers I'm sure, woould be eternally greatful ^^

Make sure all the cached images and documents on Google get deleted, too--advice from someone who's been plagiarized before.

Good luck with everything, dude! You've got my complete support.
