I think it works better if you read it with HotW than by itself, though, because the story and characters justify some of the more cliched lines in there. Talking about a fallen angel, for example- it's used a lot, but in reference to HotW it takes on more meaning than a simple reference- it's almost a context for it. Coolness ^_^
