This is a very good short poem, and speaks loudly of poignant sadness. Well done.

Amen! I liked the wording, you're crazy. The part at the end--"Yet my soul aches; longing for a thing unknown." is my favorite part, because I can sort of relate. It's interesting that this isn't your point of view, because it takes a good understanding to write in someone else's opinions.
