Better, better, better, better, better than the first version. This first chapter might be the best thing of yours I've ever read. I'm impressed.
I can't read the rest right now, because I'm late for Model UN, but I'll get to it. This was really good. Your characters have life. They sound more real than they usually do.
Quibbles- 'Aloud' should be 'allowed' and 'Broker' should not be capitalized. Otherwise, this is good

That was sad. I'm Alistair got fired and that Tracy married Ray. I suppose Dante had to die.

Nice chapter. Wow, the events really are moving fast with Matavi and Lady S dead. Tracy seems meaner in this one and Matavi seemed less creepy.

gee i just want to bawl. too many characters in books died today. AND we're reading Everyman in Drama Lit. So that means Everyman will die too...obviously. Everybody fictional is dying! I'll go sulk with my own non-dead fictional characters for awhile, lol. This was a really great re-telling of What You're Up Aganist. I liked it a lot, even more than than the origional. Woo for a great finish! Some characters just have to be killed, otherwise, there would be no Pultizer Prize winners.

well that's all very scary. Dante could be linked to like...three murders. I mean, if want to get all CSI, they'd totally find his semen all over that bed...and then he was shooting up with Matavi, and uh...well Lady S can just die. Which she did. Yay verily. ANYWAY, what's with Tracy getting all angry, i mean...he's only addicted to heroin...and sort of a murder but STILL he's Dante! Sorry about my analyzations, i just finished For Whom The Bell Tolls and now i want to cry. Then i read this, haha.
