interesting... personally, i've never been grounded... and I spend all of my time in my room anyway... my room has my laptop, books, paper, radio, everything! not much point of grounding me :P so as you say, being grounded is just retreating into my sanctuary.

the strategy just doesnt seem to work anymore, everyone's indoors all the time nowadayz anyway, its like the real punishment is to go out and do something physically active! now ThaT can be a form of punishment! :P
