Dale Christopher 2007-09-15 . chapter 1This seems to be a very complex issue within the simplest form of poetry, which I have always found intriguing. The first line is absolutely amazing, and the whole thing is rife with imagery. I'm truly impressed by this haiku.

Kusje 2007-09-15 . chapter 1Hm, the title really made me think while trying to understand this haiku.
'Engulfing a wing' makes me wonder, alot. I'm not sure what that means, in honestly. It seems that it's relating to, possibly, a person that is pulled apart between choosing something, or someone? 'a wing' interprets that, that person or object had been confused between accepting 'spiritualism', or something else entirely? It really reminds me of The Book Of Genesis. How, when some angels went with Satan and some stayed with God -- how the angels were part demonic but had been brought up in light. This confuses me, but I am still trying to understand it's meaning.
The second line really brings into perspective what is going on. But the last line makes me confused again.
I'm adding to my favorites because I want to ponder on it more. Great job. |
