I know you probably didn't mean for it to read as such, but CJ can't remember past fourteen-years-old? "Ever since CJ could remember" gives me the impression that their father left when the kids were babies or toddlers. Something to think about.

Hey! I am quite in love with this story, and I am pretty much dying to know what will happen next! I figure that they (meaning the people in the town) aren't vampires, but they definitely have SOMETHING going on. The way that they act actually reminds me of the vampires in Amelia Atwater-Rhodes's books--have you read them? If you haven't, you should. They're all really short but pretty much amazing. Please update soon!

Wow, this stuff is so great :) Actually, practically everything you have up on your profile is great (specialy the one-shots) but I really have a soft spot for fantasy/supernatural. So... I'm guessing that almost everyone in the town is not human... and that they're not one of the cliche mythical creatures, either. They probably have wings... and just somehow I get the feeling that they're not entirely good, you know? Like the slightly-evil-hot-possesive-demon kinds :)

CJ's secret is pretty confusing... at first I thought that she knew all about her powers- "someone found out about her family’s secret and used it to defeat her on court"- but the whole thing with Hannah just pushed me back to square one. Then again, even Chris seems unaware, so I don't know about the 'family secret' thing... But the last conversation CJ had with Damien threw me off again... "He knew"? Did he know *how* it happened or did he know *why* it happened?

God, this is so confusing. But in a really good way :) I've noticed that you haven't updated in a while, please write more soon! I can't wait to know what happens next.
