Very nice. It is simple, clean, but the message is clear and concise. Life is not always happy, and your fic reflects this realism. I like it.

A bit off topic, but I read from your profile that you live in Quebec and don't speak French! That is amazing! The last time I went to Quebec, I totally couldn't find my way around Montreal because I didn't know how to speak French!

I like the way you bolded all the pronouns and stressed on the verbs and emotions of the characters. Very bittersweet. Though it seemed a bit general. But it didn't take away from the quality of the story.
