Yeah, it was pretty much one uge cliche from the beginning, but I'm a hopeless romantic and a sucker for cliche's so I'm just going to tell you it was awesome. You have talent as a writer, and I loved the characterization. I think this was one of the few stories where I don't have to critisize the characters being too flat or unrealistic. I was kind of hoping for a better scene when they finally got together though... I kinda wanted Kaitlin to make the first move, so I was dissapointed when it was Nathan that asked her out. And I wanted him to be more... I dunno, surprised I guess. But you still did a good job. I also think that there's a huge number of potential sequels for this story. Obviously James... that would be awesome to read about. Maybe him and Haley? I sensed quite a few vibes for them. And maybe Eric, too. Or Jenna.. after she's older, and it would be funny to see her in high school and then run into Nathan.. it would make a good scene. So that's my two cents. Great job :) |
