This is beautiful! I know it's such a corny thing to say when you're reviewing someone's poem, but you summed me up perfectly so I'm predisposed to loving this. Even if I wasn't though, you're language and metaphors are stunning. The first line in particular is fabulous.

I love how you compare a girl to a chandelier, especially the part in brackets - it is a great extension of the metaphor. I find the dialogue a little hard to follow, though.

Even with the sense of fantasy, or maybe unreality is a better word, this ENTIRE poem captures an instant in such a way that it's breath taking. Usually I pick out favorite lines, but I just can't with this one, I love it all.

The images in this are as sharp and glittering as broken glass. And those last few lines were perfect. I admire and envy the way you write. M, I love the transition of imagery in this, and how you stay true to your motif of glass down to subtle expression. Quite intriguing, what I see in my mind's eye. It definitely casts a new perspective on a human condition. Lovely.
