Now, if you've seen Nemo, you should know that your "conscience" is like the little voice inside your head. Failing that, it's like the thing that stops you from doing bad things, or makes you regret things. Ever heard of sayings like "Thank god he's got a conscience", or "I felt my conscience niggling at the back of my thoughts"? Well, that's what it means. It's like how murderers or sociopaths have little conscience. Otherwise, how could they do what they do and not regret it or feel bad? What I think you really meant, considering the context, is "conscious." As in, "subconscious" or "unconscious" or "fully conscious." What confuses me is that you wrote "unconsciously" not long afterwards. Wouldn't that show the difference between the two? Never mind, I'm probably being too picky. My favourite part was when you wrote something about him being on crack, and then "AND CAN I HAVE SOME?!" Very funny. Good work! |
