Hmm. This is an interesting begining. I'm already liking Layra and her brother and your concepts of magic as well as having imps as slaves to warlocks. Heh but my favorite part was when Layra mentioned to her brother about the Incubus that almost took his soul. I laughed at that part. Anyhow I really do hope you update soon to this story!! Hopefully you will!!

Layra's a cool name! Sweet but dark... And you appear to like the name Caleb... Hey, I'm partial to my multipurpose name Isabelle. I'd put the explaining of what the dream is in her thoughts, rather than saying it aloud. She probably wouldn't recount a dream aloud to her brother if he already knows what she's talking about.
