This has very good tips for beginners but still lacks in depth. Still enough to keep those fingers tapping along the keyboard.

A nice essay. I like how it was all clear and consise... and I'm going to try to follow your advise, to "never give up" and all of that. I have more story ideas in my head then I can count, it's just getting them on paper clearly, so others can understand, that gets me stumped. Anyhow, thanks for posting this. Keep up the good work.

Hm... I think this essay would do better if it were more fully developed. Most of the things you listed are rather general statements. Try taking what you have here and adding in more "for instances", more detail, and more depth.

It's a good start, though.
