There sure are a lot of holes in the first chapter, a lot of "what happened" missing. It's a good plot and should be a good read for the younger set.

*sigh* Well, Tanya is as shallow and idiotic as I'd feared. I'd hoped you would at least give her half a brain, but no.

I was hoping there would be more detailed encounters with the virus, like there were in the first chapter, but I guess not. Oh well.

I like this a lot so far, just from reading the first chapter. A bunch of students trapped in a school library, with infected teachers and students running around? Sounds thrilling!

I have a bad feeling about Tanya so far: she seems like the cliched, bitchy and popular beauty queen. I hope you give her some more depth in the following chapters, or I'll hold my head and my hands and groan. I can't stand those characters, because they're so predictable.

Also, I noticed that all the attackers so far have been teachers. Is that a bit of teacher resentment on the part of the author coming through? ;P What about the students? Anyway, I expect that will change later. I'll keep reading. Good job for now!

I liked this story a lot. It had the kind of fear and horror you get from a good zombie apocalypse story, but the Infected were a lot creepier and more ferocious-sounding than boring old walking corpses. I do think a few more details about the bloody outbreak of the violent plague would go a long way to cement the true horror of the event, maybe something like the opening of Cell where you have Jynx, or maybe some other character, witness the brutality and horror of teachers and kids growing animals bits and killing each other. Also, is the plague just confined to the school, or is it a nation or worldwide thing? And where are the police, law enforcement or any adults at all? Did the infection get them all? If so, I suppose the human race is pretty much screwed. Well, anyway, good story, and I'm looking forward to more soon.

O yea! Can't wait to read more.
