I was in the War section of poetry when I came across a title that caught my attention due to the sheer loneliness and despair it seemed to emanate. For some reason, the title is what drew me to it.

Anyways, you're very good at lyrical poetry, and something quite rare in this current generation of writers. Besides that, I like how it is an insight into the mind of a single individual (thus, being a small child) through the extreme horror of a battle and dealing with the loss and deprivation of her mother. Poor soul.
