abuseI like the bolded pairs of words and I like how they tie into the end (there are five "I end with"s and six bolded words; was that purposeful?). I even like the repetition of "I end with." And you know me; I hate repetition.

Lovely poem. Harkens back to the golden days of old when StP was still in its infancy and there were only five or six people submitting to the newsletter. Good times...

You start rain with a cloud;
you end it with a rainbow.

I like the mixture of the domestic and the wild in the first three parts; the mundane and the vaguely spiritual. A story/word is constructed and familiar whist a fire is spontaneous and elemental. A car is an instrument, a song is an expression. I don't know if the contrasts were intentional, but it's good.
