There's nothing wrong with this poem. It's got excellent imagery and a romatic flow.

Somehow the word Orchid has troubled the flow, if that paragraph could be moved around, it might help. Either way, it is a very nice peice.

i.e.
A mistake i made, my world came crashing down.
I was devasted, my heart was torn.
Thrown away in exchange for an elegant Orchid.
A black rose i became, petals sordid.

It's beautiful, i'm just musing.

I really loved the metaphor of the poem, but the flow was just a bit off... otherwise I really like it!

i think this is almost perfect, only i think the transition from the third to the fourth stanza is a bit abrupt. otherwise this is one 'unblemished' piece.
