| Twenty-Six Colours 2007-11-03 ch 1, | abuseI loved the first paragraph. The language is perfect, your word choice expert. It's a great hook, too, but I suppose you already knew that. I can tell already that you know what you're doing. And the setting, too. I've sadly only been there once, but I'm in love with London. And gawd, how could I have forgotten? The drinking age is younger there...lucky. I like Andrew. He's pretty funny, in his own kind of sad way. But still likeable. He's very determined not to be lonely, and I commend him for those efforts. This was really good. The characterization was very well done, and it held my interest through the whole thing. The tone was intricate, and you kept it running to the end, which I liked. Great job, keep up the good work! H. |
