| Captain Walsh 2007-11-21 ch 3, | abusei love this! write something about a viola! |
| Guardrail 2007-11-19 ch 8, | abuseGreat intensity in this. And I'm curious to know... What significance is the wooden eyes? This is the second poem you've mentioned them in. But yeah, I thought that the second to last stanza was especially good. Awesome work, keep writing! |
| Guardrail 2007-11-19 ch 7, | abuseI love the almost haunting feel to this. Especially the, "'Stuff him, gut him, we've got wooden eyes,'" part. Another good one, I really like it! |
| Guardrail 2007-11-19 ch 6, | abuseReally nice work. I enjoyed the imagery in this. I especially liked the part about the cage becoming the bells. Really creative. Awesome work with this one. |
| Captain Walsh 2007-11-19 ch 1, | abuseooh this is fab! as a musician my self i can really appreciate this. thanks a million for reviewing my llama poem by the way! the horror of first publication has slightly receded thanks to you! |
| Guardrail 2007-11-08 ch 5, | abuseHoly crap. I barely know what to say. This poem is gorgeous. The imagery is haunting and beautiful, and the mood you've created is so real. Amazing. Simply beautiful. Keep writing or I'll cry. |
| Guardrail 2007-10-29 ch 4, | abuseOne thing that I've noticed in your more recent poems lately is the use of a bigger vocabulary. It adds so much more depth and a better tone to your writing. That's especially evident in this poem. Also, I really love the concept of "percussion genocide." Really well done, keep writing! |
| Guardrail 2007-10-29 ch 3, | abuseI LOVE this! Pretty much everything about it. Imagery, metaphors, rhythm... I would pick some favortie parts, but it's hard because no line isn't as great as another. Here's one anyway: "but I’m catching my breath with hollow fantasies that might be coming true." This is so well written. It's definatley one of my favorites of yours. Keep writing! |
| Guardrail 2007-10-29 ch 2, | abuseI love the emotion you've put into this poem. I can really relate to it. Your imagery is pretty good here too. Overall, I really like this one. Keep writing! |
| Guardrail 2007-10-24 ch 1, | abuseThis is really incredible. Each line is epic in itself, and the poem as a whole reads like a painting in stream-of-consciousness (if that makes any sense). I love the lines, "as if lead butterflies, with wings made of silver and dust made of faith." That part really struck me. Honestly, I think this might be your best yet. It's absolutely beautiful. Keep writing! |
