From what I've seen, Fictionpress is ridden with cute and fluffy stuff,lol. But yes you're right. I'm a gothic romance writer and I too, find myself writing something happy every once in a while to keep myself sane.

But anyway, good story here. It was short but interesting and the way you left it off there could possibly be another chapter added, which would do you good for character reaction purposes.
